This has bothered me for a long time. It costs between $10 to $15 for an Omega subscription, but $20 to train a second or third skill queue on the same account. Add to this the fact that skillpoint giveaways, etc., are typically account-specific, and it makes no sense to create multiple characters on the same account. Why is there such an incentive to create characters on multiple accounts instead of the same one?
Many of you (very many in fact) are familiar with Dual Character Training. We are now offering the option to increase that number by one, thus allowing you to have three Skill Queues (remember that each character only has one Skill Queue) active at the same time.

Not sure what kind of alternative character to train? Create a neutral hauler or scout, build the perfect dread pilot, or maybe even a dedicated industry, and market character. The number of possibilities for your alternative character are as massive as New Eden itself. Start training a new character today with MCT!
I was listening the podcast version of the last Metashow, and I heard something I honestly did not expected about multi character training certificates, and I'm honestly curious on what's the community feeling about this feature.
Or, rather, there is no situation that I can imagine myself in where having a second character training on my main account would be equally valuable as having a second account that could not only be training, but could also be logged in and in space at the same time as my main account.
You can create an account on the EVE Online website. If you were invited to EVE by a friend (i.e. have a referral link), use it when creating your account, as you will get some free skill points (equivalent to 2-6 weeks of training time). Additionally, your friend will receive free game time or some PLEX if you subscribe to the game. If you create an alt account of your own using the Recruit-A-Friend option and then transfer a character from one of your other accounts to the newly created account, you will be able to redeem the free skill points on the transferred character.
Even if you have multiple characters on an account, only one of those characters can have a skill actively training; all the other characters' skill queues are paused. Therefore, if you want to train skills on an alt, you have to pause training on your main character.
When starting out with alts this is a perfectly acceptable thing to do (as you can still play all your characters even while their skill training is paused), and it continues to be a valid strategy if you only plan to have your alts training for a limited time. However, if you foresee training your alt(s) for a longer time period, and/or if you are impatient and don't want to pause training on your main character, you can train two characters (on the same account) simultaneously by buying "Multiple Character Training".
Activating Multiple Character Training (MCT) opens up an additional character skill training queue for 30 days; if you want a longer period or a third training queue you have to buy multiple instances of MCT.
It doesn't matter which characters are training simultaneously, as long as the simultaneous limit is not reached. For example, you could have 3 characters named Anna, Bob and Charlie on the same account. If you have one MCT queue active on that account, you can train any combination of two characters (Anna and Bob, Anna and Charlie, or Bob and Charlie) at the same time for a period of 30 days. This provides extra flexibility if you want to train up several alternate characters. If you would like to train all three characters at once, you would have to buy an additional MCT queue.
The 30 days of MCT starts ticking from the moment you buy/activate it; you have to manually log into each additional character and start their training queues. Should their training queues run out or be paused, MCT will continue to tick down, irrespective of whether your characters are actively training or not; there is no way to "pause" MCT once it's been activated. Once the MCT queue runs out, the skill training for the character with the lowest number of skill points will be paused.
If training characters on your omega account simultaneously is interesting, then you will need to determine the cheapest method yourself. If you have an in game income and have about 2 billion isk to spare, it might be cheapest to just buy it on the market.
Sometimes having a single account feels restrictive, especially with the limitation on skill training. So players decide to make characters on multiple accounts. Always make sure that you use a recruitment link to get your 1 million skill points if you go this route!
Wildcards are special characters that can stand in for unknown characters in a text value and are handy for locating multiple items with similar, but not identical data. Wildcards can also help with getting data based on a specified pattern match. For example, finding everyone named John on Park Street.
Most people use similar patterns, for example, a capital letter in the first position, a symbol in the last, and a number in the last 2. Cybercriminals know this, so they run their dictionary attacks using the most common substitutions, "$" for "s", "@" for "a," "1" for "l". Forcing your users to choose a combination of upper, lower, digits, special characters has a negative effect. Some complexity requirements even prevent users from using secure and memorable passwords, and force them into coming up with less secure and less memorable passwords.
In Python, we can replace multiple characters in a string using the `translate()` method. This method returns a string where some specified characters are replaced with the character described in a dictionary, or in a mapping table.
In this Python tutorial, we have learned how to replace a character in a string using various methods. We started by discussing the replace() method, which is the simplest way to replace characters in a string. We then moved on to the translate() method, which can be used to replace multiple characters at once.
In school, character education must be approached comprehensively to include the emotional, intellectual and moral qualities of a person or group. It must offer multiple opportunities for students to learn about, discuss and enact positive social behaviors. Student leadership and involvement are essential for character education to become a part of a student's beliefs and actions.
and that's it, instead of sharing 2-4gb checkpoint for a style, or 4 LORAs 144mb each for single characters, now you can do all of that in a single LORA. Obviously training charcaters +style in this case worked well with just captioning since the characters are from the same series in the same style, i don't know if it works with different characters with different styles (although i think you can train different concepts at the same time in the colabs so that's another solution for that case).
I fully agree that it's crazy to train a 3-7GB model for a single character. Or even a few characters. As you noted, models should be for overall style and quality. E.g. a model that's trained specifically on landscapes. Or a model that's specifically trained on characters. But to get a likeness. That seems to be the realm of Textual Inversion. I trained my first one this week. It wasn't hard. I watched this tutorial and now feel fully comfortable training TIs. With their small file size, it seems to me TIs are better suited for character likeness than LORAs.
Still don't fully get how to train multi character lora from the posts above.
If i understand it right, i just have to add a second folder in kohya for training with Steps_Name as Folder Name and add the images in there with the prompt/txt files and then just train the lora as usual?
For example kohya:
Landing on this entire questions piece a little late, but I posted a tutorial on training LoRAs that goes into setting up multicharacter LoRAs. Like some of the other answers note - it's not ideal, but something fun to play with. Put 5 different celebs into this LoRA: -sharma where the only connecting characteristic between the persons is their last name (and of course that they are Bollywood actresses).
In order to access the VETS-4212 Reporting Application, users must log in by entering the email address provided when they registered the account for the current year, as well as the password created when the account was activated. Valid passwords consist of at least eight alphanumeric characters with at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, a number, and a special character.
Multiple establishment employers may file multiple establishment state consolidated (MSC) reports that cover hiring locations within one state that have fewer than 50 employees. The MSC Number indicates the number of hiring locations when filing a VETS-4212 Multiple Establishment - State Consolidated Report. The MSC number is a required field in order to submit a Multiple Establishment - State Consolidated report and indicates the number of hiring locations within the state consolidated report. The MSC number is not a required field if a Multiple Establishment - State Consolidated Report is not being filed.
Also the next problem you are likely to have it you need to process multiple similar files is that the lengths of your character variables are going to vary from import to import which may cause either errors or data truncation depending on what you are doing.
In the next 10 years, do you think we will see the emergence of new educational and training programs that can successfully train large numbers of workers in the skills they will need to perform the jobs of the future?
Stephen Downes, researcher at the National Research Council of Canada, commented, We will see educational and training programs that can successfully train large numbers of workers, because for the most part mechanisms will be in place that enable them to train themselves.
