You must get your brush out by or on the date listed because crews start early on the Monday following the scheduled set-out date. If you wait until later in the week, you are likely to miss your collection chance. Crews will not return for piles set out late.
Brush piles that will take longer than 10 minutes to collect will be assigned to a truck-mounted crane. The crane vehicle, or clam, will typically arrive within three business days of the chipper crew.

It all starts in Italy, where The Brush No. 001 is made by hand. Then, thanks to its combination of boar and nylon bristles and an ergonomic, protective cushion, it ends with a healthier head of hair: the shorter boar bristles work to distribute natural healthy oils throughout your strands, preventing them from becoming dry and brittle and protecting your scalp from oxidative damage. The longer nylon bristles gently stimulate your scalp to increase blood flow. Follicles stay healthy, volume is added at your crown and hair grows longer, faster. We recommend the Brush No. 001 for medium to thick, straight or wavy hair.
A good, thorough brush before you wash loosens build-up from your scalp and creates the ideal circumstances for a truly clean clean post-shampoo. Add this to your ritual with the Brush No. 001. For everyday, use the Brush in the morning to detangle, in the afternoon to refresh, and before bed to evenly distribute natural oils and wake up with softer, shinier hair.
Ever since I first worked professionally as a character designer for Disney Feature Animation I simply wanted a photoshop brush that would produce a nice line out of it. Other artists would share their personal brush sets but there were way too many to use and none of them drew their art purely in line. I looked up to great line artists from the past like Ronald Searle, Hank Ketcham, E.H. Shepard and always wondered if I could produce the same line quality in photoshop.
After 7 years of development, it's finally available! These 8 brushes have been personally fine tuned to produce impressive ink lines as close to the real thing as possible. These brushes are improved versions of what I used on the Tangled End Credits sequence; which were heavily inspired by Searle and Ketcham.
I am not seeing these icons. I will say that I do not have anything other than the bog standard brushes plus the ones I have made. Every category of brush that I choose lets me use it as an eraser. On pixel layers, no Vector brushes.
OMG thank you @iconoclast. That is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not looking forward to the task of having to go through each and every brush, in each and every application on both macOS and iPadOS (x2) and change that setting (ahem, some brush management and scripting features would be awesome), but at least it gives me a way to deal with it now. Thanks again.
With regards to brushes and erase options...I have never really assigned a specific brush to function as an eraser!...as you can just hit the 'E' key when using a brush to switch toggle to erase mode...Also you can use Control key with pixel brush mode in the same way...
Do you have examples of brushes that cannot be used with the Eraser Brush Tool? As far as I know, any brush can be used with the Eraser, though for ones specifically associated with some other tool you may need to switch to the Eraser after choosing the brush, as mentioned by StuartRC.
It is possible that is is simply a remnant of the creation process for 3rd party brushes.. If they were created using photo and assigned a tool...that's fine for photo. but the option is not yet available in designer... I am sure it will get added at some point!... cannot help you with the iPad...don't have one!
Brushes in Affinity format (.afbrushes) work the same on all platforms (PC/Mac/iPad). It should be noted that vector brushes can only be used with Affinity Designer or the Design Persona in Publisher. Vector brushes cannot be used with the Erase tool.
(Pixel) brushes with an eraser automatically switch to the eraser tool when selected. Theoretically, you could also paint with them, but then you would have to manually switch back to the brush tool. The other way round, all (pixel) brushes can also be used as erasers, you just have to switch to the eraser tool.
Sorry to say so, but that doesn't seem to work this way. I just checked this with some Frankentoon Brushes (Crayon Box, for example) where the brushes a specifically assigned to the brush tool. Selecting a crayon brush preset from that set switches the active tool to the brush. Manually selecting the eraser afterwards doesn't make the eraser use this crayon brush preset. Selecting the crayon brush preset active eraser tool switches back to the brush tool again.

Don't know if someone already had the idea, because I didn't read the whole thread, but you could also paint with the brush tool and any brush you want on a separate layer and apply the Blend Mode "Erase" (the last one in the menu) to it.
A brush is a common tool with bristles, wire or other filaments. It generally consists of a handle or block to which filaments are affixed in either a parallel or perpendicular orientation, depending on the way the brush is to be gripped during use. The material of both the block and bristles or filaments is chosen to withstand hazards of its intended use, such as corrosive chemicals, heat or abrasion. It is used for cleaning, grooming hair, make up, painting, surface finishing and for many other purposes. It is one of the most basic and versatile tools in use today, and the average household may contain several dozen varieties.
A common way of setting the bristles, brush filaments, in the brush is the staple or anchor set brush in which the filament is forced with a staple by the middle into a hole with a special driver and held there by the pressure against all of the walls of the hole and the portions of the staple nailed to the bottom of the hole. The staple can be replaced with a kind of anchor, which is a piece of rectangular profile wire that is anchored to the wall of the hole, like in most toothbrushes. Another way to attach the bristles to the surface can be found in a fused brush, in which instead of being inserted into a hole, a plastic fibre is welded to another plastic surface, giving the option to use different diameters of bristles in the same brush.
The action of these brushes is more akin to combing than brushing, that is they are used to straighten and untangle filaments. Certain varieties of hairbrush are however designed to brush the scalp itself free of material such as dead skin (dandruff) and to invigorate the skin of the scalp.

I'm still on a steep learning curve with Affinity and still learning the small things which can make a big difference. Just the other day, I found somewhere in the small print in the help that clicking a layer with the CTRL key gives you a selection of that layer. For me, that was the big step to get the ball rolling when painting in Designer.
Next question I have, how do I know which brush I have selected? Because I change frequently between brush tool, smudge tool and the eraser, I don't see which brush I'm using for painting-smudging-erasing. I'm just assuming that for each action I'm using the same brush.
Because of my earlier experience with Procreate, where if you change between each paint-smudge-erase brush, you actually see which brush you have selected for that action, I was wondering if there is something similar in Affinity Designer/Photo?
That I have noticed; But I don't think it shows which brush is being used for smudging for instance. Btw I assume the brushes used when clicking on the brush symbol it shows them in order when last used, ie the most recent brush on top?
