Data and Information Architecture Data Modeling - logical, physical schemas, subject areas/domain taxonomy, REST API, Event, Database schema naming conventions Architecture Governance process familiarityIn this role, the CCB Information Architect will play in integral role in:(1) Applying Firm and CCB data standards and metadata best practices to ensure Data Models, Events and Topics and APIs are consistent and compliant to data standards and can be evidenced(2) Working with Firm Model Mart team to enable API access to data models and use that model access to parse metadata and UDPs to improve visibility and context of the data(3) Assisting with the seeding the CCB Core Business Dictionary with metadata and developer friendly descriptor/facets to enable contextual search for developers to more quickly and consistently define their data (identify, then click) so they get metadata out of the box(4) Supporting taxonomy governance and management as well as foster continuous improvements via Retail banking industry taxonomies for business and technical assets for ownership, organization and dynamic tagging. The ideal candidate should be progressive in automating the standards and enablement across information architecture and data management for the data models, APIs and Events/Topics. They should also exhibit the following: Proficient to apply data standards and taxonomies across data stores, APIs and Events to ensure the schemas at rest and in motion are in compliance Proficient in Data and Information Architecture practices Proficient/Expert in Data Modeling using tools such as ErWin and Model Mart Proficient in Retail Banking Taxonomies and data tagging techniques with ability to apply firm taxonomies Proficiency in elastic search and BI tooling such as Tableau a plus Proficient with REST API, Event, Database schemas and constructs such as Apigee, Kafka and various data management technologies (Cassandra etc.) Understanding of Domain Driven Design Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with enterprise metadata, reference data and data quality, including analysis and faming facts
