[This is a question from Yudis Asnar of University of Trento, which
I've posted here with permission as it may also be beneficial to
others -- Sam Supakkul]

I'm interesting with your profile for i* at Staruml. Unfortunately, I
can operate it properly.
I can open your example (security.uml) but I can't make the new
diagram. It is strange if I create a new softgoal I can't see it as a
softgoal, but it is shown as normal class though the stereotype
indicates that it is an softgoal.

As I said, I can open your example properly. If I change the streotype
It will change becoming a class and if I return it in the initial
softgoal streotype then it will back shown as a cloud, but if I create
the new one then it is not the case :(

This is the default behavior of StarUML where the stereotype of newly
created model elements is shown as text (e.g. <<NFRSoftgoal>>) instead
of the provided icon (e.g. cloud icon). To change this behavior, go to
menu Tools->Options->General View, then change "Show Stereotype"
option from "Text" to "Icon". From then on, new softgoals will be
shown as clouds.

The screen shot of the option modification is available here:
