A mysterious figure is lurking around Flo's Diner, removing the word "Fat" from the "Fat-Free Breakfast" banner on the roof using white paint, which makes Flo's Diner look like it's having a free breakfast promo. The next day, Flo and Chef Cookie are surprised by the sign, unfortunately it is too late. As soon as they open the diner, customers start running into and overloading the diner and, as a result, Flo's Diner explodes.
Flo later encounters Mr. Big, who offers to buy her diner. Flo refuses, but Mr. Big blackmails by saying that if the lot is unused in one week, he will buy the diner. One of Flo's customers, Hal the Hungryman, doesn't want to let Mr. Big buy Flo's Diner, and has agreed to rebuild the diner. Flo and Cookie proceed to get a hold of Hal's employees who have been scattered across Dinertown (Avenue Flo, Squid Row, Thyme Square, and Dinertown University).
But then, Flo and Cookie receive the news that Mr. Big has forwarded the deadline. With help from her friends, Flo manages to rebuild the diner just before the deadline. Frustrated at the diner having been finished, Mr. Big challenges Flo by putting signs all over the streets so that the diner will be overloaded once more, but he eventually fails.
Players can also customize the diner and the venues, the venues can be customized at several levels, there are four different items to be customized, after choosing which item to be customized, players can choose one of several different venue upgrades, in the end all four of customizer options will be finished and the player is awarded with a venue medal. The Diner can also be customized, unlike venue customizer, the Diner customizer objects will unlock one by one by finishing levels.
At midnight, a mysterious person arrives at Flo's Diner and scrubs off the 'fat' of Flo's fat-free breakfast promotion, the next morning Flo & Cookie arrive and open the diner only to dodge a massive tsunami of customers when Flo & Cookie see that the promotion reads "Free Breakfast." Mr. Big arrives at the remains of the destroyed diner and declares that he will buy the land out if Flo can't rebuild her diner within a week. Hal the Hungry Man then promises Flo he will help to rebuild the diner if she can find his handymen, so Flo and Cookie set off...
Starting at Avenue Flo, Flo and Cookie serve many customers & townies to fund Hal's rebuilding of the diner, after successfully conquering weather mishaps and a broken hydrant, Flo and Cookie get the word from Hal that more of his handymen are in Squid Row's Carnival.
Everyone at DinerTown is at the diner to celebrate the grand reopening but Mr. Big is outraged they managed to do it quickly and puts his backup plan into motion, pressing a switch, Mr. Big springs large advertisements for Flo's Diner, attempting to rope customers to destroy the diner again.
Flo and Cookie's 3rd stop brings them to Thyme Square at booming bright light hours of the night. The upgrades here center around making the place more flashy, and the hazard here is malfunctioning wire boxes. Around the 4 corners of the area boxes will go off, if Flo doesn't fix them in time customers will leave.
Flo and Cookie have finally made it, back to their beloved home, as always the final restaurant is the hardest and Flo's Diner lives up to it. The appearance of the diner is based on how you customize it, there are no upgrade except for equipment upgrades and the hazard for Flo's Diner is all the hazards together.
Everywhere I look, I can only see the current iOS/Android Diner Dash version, which I find ugly. It's not the same thing, it has that same pay-to-win mechanics so many mobile games have now. I want to play those original, classic Diner Dash games. Also, with the huge success of Diner Dash in the 2000s, PlayFirst made other dash games as well like Car Dash, Wedding Dash, Cooking Dash... where are those?
In Diner Dash 5: BOOM!, Flo's diner has received a surge in customers, mainly because the sign outside reading "Fat Free Breakfast" had been vandalised by a prankster to read simply "Free Breakfast". Flo can hardly let these customers go away disappointed, and it is up to the player to help her with this tall order. If the diner gets too crowded, you can seat the customers outside; but be warned that this means you now have two areas to keep an eye on. Then came Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction who early on in the movie treats a waiter/Buddy Holly impersonator like crap, then in a later scene pulls a gun during an already tense armed robbery in a coffee shop, right after stinking up the men's room with a massive heroin dump. And to make that situation even worse, he and his buddy just let the robbers go. But wait a sec ... Vincent was the only customer who didn't get his money stolen by the robbers, so he was perfectly capable of paying for his tab... but he didn't. The ol' dine and dump and de-escalate and dash.
But a lot of Lloyd's dick moves in the movie disproportionately target bars and restaurants. He shows up at a bar hours before they open and still expects to be served. He crashes a banquet he was not invited to and kills an endangered owl with a champagne cork. He tricks the cashier at a truck stop diner into putting their lunch on an angry trucker's tab. Look, say what you will the kind of person who would walk out without paying their check, at least they respect the server enough not to make them an accessory to the scam.
In one scene, our pair of "heroes" slip some hot peppers into a guy's burger, without knowing the guy had a peptic ulcer. It's pretty safe to assume this prank was Lloyd's idea. It fits his M.O. Then, after Harry accidentally gives the guy poison and he dies, Lloyd reacts by asking for the check. They just committed second degree manslaughter and split (a die-and-dash, as it were), leaving the restaurant to deal with the aftermath of a dead body, a police investigation and a packed house of horrified customers.
Pierce Brosnan was a perfect choice to play Stuart "Stu" Dunmeyer in Mrs. Doubtfire. The man had just enough English charm and dashing good looks to make audiences overlook just how smarmy that character really was. Hell, in his first scene in the movie, Stu tries to get back together with his old flame, Miranda, before she tells him she's going through a divorce. Think about that. He went into that conversation believing she was still married and went for it anyway, and upon hearing about the divorce, you could almost see the gears in his head switch from homewrecker to rebound score.
