Greetings! I found your utility on the SG Guru forums, and I'm
honestly trying to use it, but something might have gone awry.

I've got nearly (or over, I haven't counted lately) 200 applications,
and easily 300 icons for all the extras that go along with them, so
I'm wondering if it's a complete overload.

.NET Framework gave an error, stating "Argument 'picture' must be a
picture that can be used as a Icon."

Here's the details:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi Bryan, thanks for checking out SoftBar and letting me know of the
issue. This isn't an overload (although 300 icons is a lot :), but a
programming glitch. What version of SoftBar are you using? This was
an issue with an earlier version, but not the latest...or so I
thought. Can you send me the SoftBar and AppV logs at
sof...@jagtechnical.com? The SoftBar log can be found in the .exe
directory for 1.0.2 and older and the appdata directory for 1.0.3 and
newer. Thanks!

Greg

I figured it out, after trying out Windows 7. After I got a couple
apps added to Win7 (btw, prep for it with <OS VALUE="Win7"/> ), I had
them working and showing in SoftBar. So I added all of my others!
Dur...
Nope, it died. And it died on a very particular application, which
was located on the bottom of the Manage Buttons list
If you've ever heard of MultipleIE, a series of plugins and
applications from http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE , IE 3 has a
multitude of icons packaged in its icon. After removing IE3, I
refreshed my apps with SoftBar, and there was no error!
Straaaaange.....
