ERROR OUT OF MEMORY

HELP.

I just had my laptop repaired and had a logic board installed, the
problem was the Nvidia card was bad so apple replaced the whole board.
everything seems to be running fine except for FCP 7.0.

when i launch the application i get this error report "out of memory"

i took it back to apple they checked all the hardware and all is
running fine, memory, HD, gfx card and logic board.

i reinstalled FCP twice and i still have this issue, cant find
anything on the web about this problem with 7.0, i did find similar
issues with 5.0 and up.

i zapped the pram and nothing.

has anyone encountered this?

i am running this on a Macbook Pro, 2.6 ghz, intel core 2 duo, 4 gb
668 mhz ddr2 sdram. i have enough ram, no other application is
running.
