Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is John and I just joined
this group.

I first learned of SOFEA from Peter Svensson's google tech talk. From
there I read "Life above the Service Tier". What I liked about the
paper is how it provided a motivation and rationale for something I
had been watching for a while - apps moving MVC to the browser.

I blogged about the paper here:
http://hardlikesoftware.com/weblog/2009/03/29/comments-on-life-above-the-service-tier/

Then Ganesh pointed me to this group. I have found the discussions
very interesting.

I don't have a SOA background. I'm a big fan of REST and JSON. I make
web apps.

I think it is important to have a document of some kind to explain the
hows and whys of single page applications (and related things). Just
pointing to TiddlyWiki (Wikipedia redirects SPA there) and saying look
at that isn't enough.

Thanks,
-John
