Download best free Lightroom presets compatible with Mobile, Desktop, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop Camera Raw, and Lightroom 4, 5, 6. You can download these presets right away and start editing images with Lightroom.
A Lightroom preset is a filter with predetermined settings and it can get you close to the desired effect quickly. It helps in post-processing or photo editing, saves time & energy, and most importantly it allows us to achieve certain looks that are hard to achieve.
Wherease Lightroom Desktop Presets are not images, they are files exported in .XMP format by Adobe Lightroom Classic. Mobile presets, on the other hand, are created in Lightroom Classic and exported to .DNG format for use in the Lightroom Mobile App.
Whether it is a mobile or desktop preset, they both work the same but the only difference is you need DNG files to use them on mobile whereas Lightroom CC & Classic support .XMP format. Also, you need a creative cloud subscription plan to use presets on Desktop but there is no need of subscription plans when it comes using presets in the FREE Lightroom Mobile App
You need to use lightroom cc (not classic) on your desktop to transfer them. Create presets in classic. Then import them into cc. Then they sync to mobile. Not ideal, actually a huge pain in the butt But it finally works.
The day has finally come, and we have been waiting for this feature FOREVER! So how could we not post about the ability to use Pretty Presets for Lightroom in Lightroom CC for mobile devices!!
You won't be able to sync your presets directly from Lightroom Classic CC to the Lightroom CC Mobile App. You will need to use the Lightroom CC Desktop App as a middle man of sorts to get them there. If you are a Creative Cloud subscriber, you DO have access to download this app.
If you have previously installed your presets in the Lightroom CC Desktop Application, you are one step ahead. When you open up the Desktop App after installing or updating both the mobile and desktop Lightroom apps with the current version, your presets should now be automatically synced to the Lightroom CC Mobile App.
1. You will need to download and install the Lightroom CC Desktop App if you don't have it, and make sure you have the most current version (at least the June 2018 update). **NOTE: This is different from Lightroom Classic.
4. To finish this process, select the zipped folder of presets you would like to add to your Lightroom mobile applications and then click Import. These presets will now be available in Lightroom CC and your Lightroom CC mobile app.
3. Once you click on the Presets section, it will open to a random preset collection. I have noticed the presets will not usually be in the same order they appear in your Lightroom Classic CC - but they will ALL be there.
The collection name will be listed at the top of the preset menu with the individual presets listed below, and you can scroll through all your available presets. To apply a preset, simply tap the preset name.
4. To change the collection of presets, tap on the collection name at the top of the preset options. Doing that will bring up a list of all the preset collections. Select the preset collection you want, and you will be taken to a list of the presets in that collection.
With the new update, you can now manage which presets you see in your presets menu! I LOVE that I can now turn off all the default presets that come with Lightroom since I prefer using my Presets from Pretty Presets - they are SO MUCH BETTER!
2. Click on the three dots (. . .) at the top of the Presets menu and select the "Manage Presets" option. This will open a list of all the presets you installed with a small check box next to each one.
Using your Pretty Presets for Lightroom on your iPhone or Android device is something we have wanted to offer our customers for a very long time, and we are so happy that we can now do that.
Keep in mind that Lightroom adjustment brush presets are still not able to be used in any of the Lightroom CC Desktop and Mobile versions (you can currently only use brushes in Lightroom Classic). So, to use brushes in Lightroom, you will need to make sure you have Lightroom Classic CC installed and use your brushes there.
Bonus Info: You can also sync Lightroom Classic CC to the new Lightroom CC Mobile App so that you can edit and share photos across all of your devices. You can read more about this in our Lightroom Mobile Sync tutorial.
We recommend that you use these pastel presets whenever you want soft color accents on your photos. These are great on most types of photography including portraits, fashion, travel, weddings, children, and...

Presetsare essentially a configuration of settings, designed to quickly achieve the look of hours of editing, making global changes with a single click. On average, our presets change 30-50 settings.
Actions are prerecorded sets of multiple software commands, that play one after the other, to make specific changes to an image. Actions can be stacked, so that one is run after the other, in order to create more dynamic edits. Actions are typically complex and because of this, the use of actions saves a user large amounts of time from having to make each change individually in order to achieve a desired outcome. Our actions are compatible with Photoshop CS6 and later (including CC and 2020), and Elements versions 15 and later.
Overlays consist of an image (.jpeg or .png) that sits on top of your original image as a layer, in order to enhance your image. The layers are often blended by the user to create a realistic composition. Overlays are multi-purpose and can come in many forms from seasonal (rain and rainbows, snow, fog, skies, and leaves), to everyday magic (glitter, light leaks, bokeh, confetti, and fairy dust)!
A LUT is a tool that allows filmmakers, editors, and colorists to apply specific color grades to film/video (raw log footage) or images. Our LUTs or color lookup tables are .CUBE format presets created to colorgrade film clips. These can be used in most video-editing software and any photo editing software that allows for adjustment layers targeting lookup tables for color grading. We've included some common programs below, but if you know your software can support .CUBE LUTs, then you can use these!

While many professional photographers and editors prefer to edit images on a larger screen (desktop vs mobile) or with more robust software (Lightroom subscription vs free mobile app), it certainly is not necessary or required. All images can easily be shot, edited, and posted from a mobile device. In fact, using presets when working on mobile will help to ensure an ideal mobile-friendly edit. Luxe presets work seamlessly between desktop and mobile and you can easily transfer between devices. Do what works for you!
For those of you using Lightroom on your desktop, simply install the presets on your desktop and log in to your Adobe account on your Lightroom Mobile App. The presets will automatically sync between the desktop and the mobile app and your installation will be complete.
For those of you who purchased mobile only presets, such as our dedicated Modern Pack Lightroom Mobile Presets, follow the steps below to install the presets on your phone. You can find a video of this tutorial (and a demonstration of the presets in action) here.
