The old version of 1.4.6 will allow me to import excel data files but the new version will not allow me to import excel data files. Any suggestions?

Sorry about that - a new Windows package for 1.5.3 is out which fixes
the problem. It was to do with the Python excel sub-package I was
relying on - I needed to change versions. The new zip file ends in
_fixed_excel (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sofastatistics/files/sofastatistics/1.5.3/sofastats-1.5.3_for_win_fixed_excel.zip/download)
