Totally unrelated but...

I don't know if anyone else on this list is as anxious for tomorrow as I am but if you are and you feel like just doing something to make yourself feel like you did something (besides donate, drink or, oh yea, vote), go to moveon.org and they make it super easy to make a handful of calls from your home or cell phone to registered Dems in swing states.  I was relieved to hear from most of the folks I called that they had already voted.

Hello book club!

First of all, thanks very much to Paige for hosting our Olive Kitteridge meeting last week. I am excited to be hosting our next meeting, where we'll be discussing Anna Karenina. For those of you who missed our last meting, we decided we'd meet in early December and just discuss whatever we'd read so far, with no expectation of having finished the book. I'd like to invite everyone to my house (20 Bedell St) on Friday December 7th. Feel free to come by any time after 7:30ish for goodies, wine and, of course, sophisticated literary analysis ;).
