Hi Tito,
“ Young lady: It's not fair! None it's fair! And don't you dare to tell me it is.
Superman: I won't. Because you're right. It's not fair. John Lennon is dead but Moammar Kadaffi is still alive. JFK is dead and Castro is alive...It's not fair. But it's not unfair either. It just...is."
Yes, I’m not making this up, that’s a real script I took, not from the latest box-office Batman VS Superman movie, but from Superman’s comic.

I stumbled into this Superman comic last week on Facebook, a scene where Superman is talking to a young lady who is about to commit suicide. And, oh boy, I nearly cried.
“...Life….it’s not fair. But it’s not unfair either. It just…is.” - Superman
Ouch. That is deep, right? I never imagined a guy wearing red underwear (yes, he used to wear red underwear outside) and curly s-shaped hair could be so cool, saying words of wisdom about life.

Only Superman could do that. :D
By the way, let’s talk about Superman and why he is super.
This glimpse of Superman’s story taken from the comic truly embodies how “strong” Superman really is. (No worries, I put the link of the comic on the bottom.)
There is no massive action/fight scene, just a conversation between Superman and a young lady who has lost hope and wants to end her life.
You may wonder, "What makes it so ‘super' then?"
Superman reminds us about what “super” really means. It is not the ability to fly, to carry a rocket, or to stop a bullet.
The real definition of “super” has nothing to do with how physically strong we are.
“Super” should be characterised by something inside us, like the meaning behind Superman’s symbol: hope.
The ability not to fight with muscles but with courage; not driven by fear, but by hope. That is how a real “super" strong person should be.
When nothing’s ever seen, in our darkest phase of our lives, hope shines brightest.
And Superman is a “super” man he is because he hopes. He hopes even in the darkest hour. He hopes for justice, better future for everyone. He inspires people to hope as well.
That’s the kind of Superman I have always believed when I first read his comics over 15 years ago. And that’s where the Batman VS Superman movie failed to portray Superman as nothing but just a-physically-too-strong alien (No offence to you if you love the movie :D)
In short, it all comes down to a question: Do you hope?
Do you believe no matter how challenging your life is at the moment, like being treated as if your contributions at work mean nothing, you somehow trust that things will get better? Or no matter how many failures you have faced, handling too many business proposal rejections, do you still give hope a chance?
Just read the comic below and I do hope that you do give hope a chance, always.
