Dear Brethren,

 

Greater Works!!!

 

I greet you all in the name of the Almighty God. I believe your week is going according to God’s will.

 

I am sending this mail to give us an update on where we are with respect to the pledges we made towards the Church Planting and Class Graduation. These two activities have been announced severally by the SOD leadership in our previous classes.

 

Please recall that in our last class of 3^rd August, the following were announced

        i.            All students to make free-will pledges towards the Church Planting and Class Graduation ceremony

     ii.            Pledges to be redeemable between August and November

   iii.            The targeted amount for both activities is currently estimated at approximately QAR 73,000

   iv.             Students to submit a copy of passport picture for use in the Class Year book

 

As an update on where we are currently with regards to the pledges; 23 students have so far made their pledges out of an approximate class number of 45, amounting to QAR 36,150.00. As you can see, we are only half way to our target, if and when all the pledged amounts are redeemed. Further to previous announcement, the expectation is that students can redeem their pledges in parts over the course of the next 4 months starting September 1^st.  

 

Meanwhile, I call on those of us who are yet to make their pledges to please do so on or before our next class (Sept 7^th, 2013), and all those who had pledged already to come prepared to redeem their pledges in part or in full as the Lord gives us ability.

 

For all those with outstanding exams, please be reminded that there is an opportunity to take complete our pending exams this Saturday 31^st September, 2013 between 10am and 12 noon. It is an opportunity for us to clear all our outstanding papers before our next class.

 

I am available to provide further clarity on the above if necessary.
