Greater Works!!

Greetings to everyone in the matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. The scriptures tell us "Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof" (Ecclesiastes 7:8 KJV). Indeed we are approaching the end of the SOD classes and we bless our God for bringing us thus far. But as we have often been told we may come to the end of the 'Academic Training' of the SOD, but our learning as a disciple is a lifelong venture. We will all finish strong in Jesus Name!

This is to remind us that we will be having our SOD Exam and  Lectures on Saturday 2nd November 2013 by 9 am at the Rehoboth Assembly Doha Central Parish building (usual venue).

Kindly note that the Year 9 Exams will be both Objectives and Theory and will come first (by 9.15am) after which the Year 10 Lectures will start.(by 11am)

Pastor Felix Makanjuola will be around and will start with us from 11am. This further empathizes our need to come on time. God will indeed reward all our labour and service in Jesus Name.

God bless and see everyone then!

Tomiwa

Thank you very much Sister Ify.

Oh yes! Big lesson for us all. I believe it goes beyond giving to the needy or being kind to the poor. It's about loving and appreciating others as God's children created in His image - irrespective of their physical appearance and financial status.

I mean, touching, sitting and sharing moments with them even though they may not be wearing a perfume or have not changed their clothes in a while. It is about meeting them in their homes and spending some time to hear their stories - without thinking it is a waste of time. May God help us in Jesus Name, Amen.

Greater Works than these.

May God help us to do His will in everything and the spirit of discernment to know what to do, how to do, and when to do in Jesus name.
Thanks sis

Wonderful, Makes me wonder if we are Christ like or church goers. It's very unfortunate that a lot of us today even as we call ourselves "disciples" will still do this .
The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink. Lord help me to do greater works indeed.
Thanks alot Sis Ify.

Sis Ify,
God bless you for sharing. When I saw and read this article sometimes ago, I kept wondering and asking, are we (Christians) doing differently? Or have we fashioned out our own (man's fleshly ideology) ways of worshipping as it is evident in many things the Church have subtly accepted, thereby losing out on the reality of what the bible says?

It is true the judgement of God will begin at home (Church).
We have a part to play - let's start bridging today so that our Children will not be thrown out like what is saddly prevalent today in most part of the world where generations forgot that they will not be here forever. They did not pass on the truth and Godly principles, instead they focused on passing down history.

May God help us to be true to His words and live it out daily in Jesus Name. Amen.

Regards and God bless you.
Eniedi Ebong.
