Winter Gathering

Hi SOCcers,

I'm so glad we were able to get a meal at Power Shift. What an awesome
weekend. I am thrilled about SOC's potential.

FYI - winter gathering, the SSC's mid-year leadership gathering is
coming right up Nov. 30th - Dec. 2. This is mostly for ExComm and one
rep from each committee to get together, check in and work on some
serious organizational planning. It's in D.C., so we need to decide
who to send ASAP so they can book a ticket (if necessary) before
prices jump up. That means we'll pay for your ticket, but we want it
to be cheap!

So if you are seriously interested in helping lead SOC in to the
future and want to do some kickass planning (and are free for the 30th
through the 2nd), please email the group and give me a call tomorrow!

Also, I'm about to call each of you about phonebanking, get ready,
Sunday will be fun!

Also, sorry I missed the call, Jesse. I was actually planning a new campaign for my campus - well one of many that have spurred from Power Shift. I am definitely on this phonebanking for this weekend if you want to just send a quick email confirming the date and time as it may have changed depending on the schedules of the other soc-subbers

amanda i for sure support you going to the winter gathering, not that
the rest of us aren't capable. I'm pretty excited for phonebanking
this weekend. talk to you soon? are we talking next monday? i mean to

I'm down with whatever, I think we all have the capability to fully rep SOC during this weekend. I really have no preference, but will throw out there that I live an hour and a half away from D.C. so that might be convenient... I would also be really interested in going, but definitely don't want to push anyone else out that would also want to go. We all rock!
