OK, all-I added the logo but it looks a little half-ass. Anyone want to try and make the logo flush with the P2P, or find a better place for it?Sadly, I have to go with my office to a red sox game (under the category of forced bonding/patriotism) and I'm lame and not looking forward to it (would rather talk with y'all and do yoga) so I won't be on the call tomorrow. Here are my two-cents about p2p next steps:MOSTLY that I think we need to do a check-in relatively soon with buddies- so on the call if y'all can come up with a plan that's realistic given the SPROG activity, but will make sure buddies don't think we've abandoned them and so we give them something good to chew on before the pilot closes up.THOUGHTS:> maybe we can entertain the idea of taking on mentorship pair buddies- not necessarily to phonebank them but maybe just to offer to answer questions via email, or to personalize a mass email a bit.>On the call, it might be worthwhile to take another look at the feedback from the last survey, and the roundtable. (below)>I love Aaron's idea of "climate community updates" and Amanda's "tally criterion". also the suggested "guidelines" we came up with (in mentorship proposal). (also below) .... these would all be good things to consider for a second email/survey/outreach round.>Looking ahead, Shindig will be a good opportunity to continue the feedback on the program in person. AND face time, like Laura said. Yay and SOC hop. Boo I won't be there. Might be good to mention in outreach (and that way we'd be advertising Sprog, woot woot!)****************************Feedback:-people would like some more guidelines/activities/prompts/questions for the program...-clarify for buddies that it's P2P, not mntrsp... and what our rationale for that is-be clear on our "system" for facilitating this pgm... monthly surveys, what's the duration, etc.-brainstorm ways to incorporate sproggers, alum, campaign-help buddies identify their self/shared-interests-make it part of SSC culture******************Logistic Guidelines
These are jumping off points for creating a structured conversation between the Peer Exchange participants. Modification based on particular preferences is encouraged.
Phone-Based System
• Hold regularly-scheduled, hour-long check-ins by phone or in-person to review progress, identify & address challenges, draw out key lessons, and review next steps.
Email-Based System
• The paired Peer Exchange participants will email each other weekly with an update on their group’s progress, challenges, and speculative next steps for review and input of their partner.
