SOC! hey guys, we're having a call this week, as is to be expected. Agenda is forthcoming so look out for that.
Tuesday the 21st of April 7pm EST
Conference Dial-in Number: (712) 432-0800
Participant Access Code: 634816
be glad you dont live here: yesterday it was a glorious 75 degrees and now its back down to 40 :( yeah minnesota! at least im more likely to actually do my homework now.
though ive heard its been snowing in new mexico!
i've included caroline's action items from our last call. check out what we've accomplished and what we've slacked on.
But, the long and short of it... Here's what YOU can/should do between now and our next call!!!!
Step #1: get everyone on the same page. Call your buddy tonight or tomorrow, if possible
Aaron- call Cristina!
Laura- call Chrissy!
Caroline- call Angela
(tell your buddy about Shin Comm)
Step #2: we all sign up for 5-8 lovely people by TOMORROW if possible to phone bank about the Mentorship Pilot Pgm.
(it's the 'SSC Mentors Sheet')
Step #3: Phone Bank! Let's try to finish these calls by next tuesday, the 14th
-check out the phone script if that makes you feel more comfy
-send a follow-up email to everyone you call (see draft)
-send them the "questionnaire" - ask them to fill it out by friday the 17th
Let me know if you have any difficulties with any of this! the S in Soc stands for Support (and the C is communication... or community)!
Step #4:
For the week we don't have a call (next week), we're going to try out a phone chain! (Good idea, Aaron!)
Laura is going to start the chain for next week, and send us a list of who calls who. Look out for that.
This way we can all keep one another on track and get to know one another a little better as well :) Yay!
Step #5:
Keep your eyes peeled for word from Pub Sub on a cool media project they're working on. SOC
is going to try to support this initiative by filtering media
enthusiasts from the mentorship pgm to this project. Conversation to be
continued :)
