Hi everyone,

Nice to meet all of you, I am a new member here in the group!

I am a teacher from Unibz, and I teach courses related to software architecture and design. I am from Brazil, and I was very active in the local JUG in my city. I hope to participate here and encourage the students to engage as well.

In this initial message, I would like to inform you about the course "Development of Agentic AI Applications in Practice" that I will offer as part of the EDIH project (https://www.unibz.it/it/faculties/engineering/edih-training-artificial-intelligence/). It has a duration of 8h and will be in NOI on the 28th of January.

You can enroll in this link: https://it.eu.surveymonkey.com/r/Preiscrizioni_EDIH (don't take more than 3 minutes). Companies that participate in the courses can be eligible to receive state aid covering up to 100% of the enrollment cost. More information is available on the website in the “Agevolazione e Aiuto di stato” section.

Here is the full course description:

Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems capable of acting with autonomy to achieve goals by making decisions, planning complex actions, and executing them with minimal human intervention. This course presents to the participants the main elements and components that can be used to develop multi-agent systems that interact with Large-Language Models (LLMs). Practical examples will be developed during the course in Java, using the Langchain4j API. The following topics will be covered by the course: creation of LLM agents; prompt engineering techniques; making data available through Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG); providing application APIs and tools available through function calling; patterns for multi-agent interactions.

I conducted extensive research to prepare the course and continually update it with the latest developments as they are released. The content is very practical and hands-on, with a lot of coding (in Java) involved. :)

Best regards!  /  Saudações!  /  Cordiali saluti! / Mit freundlichen Grüßen!
