Weeding Session Tuesday Morning

Please come out to the community garden Tuesday morning, that's tomorrow, at 9 a.m. Weather looks mild, good weed-pullin' weather.

Diana Ullman will be there leading the charge against the weeds that are overtaking the garden. Bring tools you need, plus weed wackers, if you have 'em.

She'll be there for a couple of hours, so if you can't be there at 9, come later.

Let's focus on the worst parts of the garden: The paths just inside the fence around the plots. Leave the rows between the plots until we tame the areas with the worst weed infestation.

Pull the weeds, put them in paper yard bags, carry the bags out of the garden and leave them by the garbage can near the street.

There will be another session Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon. Plan to attend at least one.
