The smoke alarm went off, today.
Me and Mum looked around the house, but nothing.
Opened the front door and.. maaan, Smokey smell like crazy.
Mum checked out the back, and I out the front.
Looking left and right around the street.
Up and down, checking windows.
Looking for smoke in the air.
Nothing.
Came back in.
Nothing came of it.
No fires.
*shrugs*
Of course, that wasn't the end of it, because .. boy, did I end up in motion-sickness hell after all that looking around.
The expulsion of food was heavily involved.
Then I went to bed, feeling like shite.
Fuxake.
I'd be useless in a real emergency.
Stay safe.
Stay indoors.
Stay in a mostly stationary position.
