Hello All,

Im really having trouble extending the Heartbeat Interval..

Basically its set to 15 as far as i can see,
and i would like to make it around 60 seconds, how would i append this
without changing the actual library?
This is my current Node configuration, where or what would be the
correct variable for extending the heartbeat interval?

var socket = io.listen(server, {
transports:['websocket', 'xhr-
multipart', 'xhr-polling'],
transportOptions: {
'websocket':
{closeTimeout: 120000},
'xhr-polling':
{closeTimeout: 120000}
}
}),

Cheers

The closeTimeout is the number of ms after which a socket is considered disconnected if the connection hasn't been reopened.

I think you're looking for `heartbeatTimeout` and `heartbeatInterval`?

It seems however, xhr-multipart doesnt adhere to my config :(

It still posts every 10 seconds..
Is there a different setting?? or is this a bug??

Cheers
