Subject: HISP 689-100: Spanish Reading and Translation (Summer Session I)
Hi. Can you please forward the following announcement to your graduate students? This is particularly pertinent if they have a foreign language requirement to fulfill. Thank you, --José Villalobos
----
"HISP 689-100: Spanish Reading and Translation," scheduled for Summer Session I is designed for graduate students who:
a) need to fulfill a foreign language requirement for their respective degree plans, or
b) would like to learn how to read in Spanish.
This is a Pass/Fail course and it cannot be used on a student's degree plan. However, if a student's particular graduate program has a foreign language requirement, credit towards that requirement can be reported for students who earn no less than a B in the course.
The course runs from May 29 through July 2 and will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-5:30pm in ACAD 224.
Thank you for helping me get the word out to your graduate students. They can contact me directly should they have any questions regarding this course.
