Tribute to Prof Rob Pattman and Memorial Notice

Dear Members of the Sociology Community, 

I write this email with the heaviest heart to relay the unfortunate news of the recent passing of Emeritus Professor Robert Pattman. I share here a tribute from one of his students, Dr Makhetha, which captures the heart and core of who Rob was as an activist scholar and mentor to many of us. This is to also inform you that there will be a memorial for Prof Pattman held at Stellenbosch University next week Tuesday, 2nd September - RSVP details below in poster. 

We continue to keep his family, colleagues, students and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.
