Dear Colleagues,

Please see the attached invitation for a research symposium on Decent Work in Africa co-organised with the University of Cape Town (UCT- SARCHI Chair on Decent Work and Sustainable Livelihoods), the National Research Foundation (NRF) and the following Australian Universities: Curtin University, Torrens University and the University of Tasmania. The symposium will be hosted by UCT in Cape Town. We have raised enough funding to ensure that registration is free, however you will have to cover your own transport and accommodation costs. There is also an online registration option if not attending physically.

-There are sessions for early career researchers, doctoral researchers and established researchers.

-Our special issue on Decent Work and the Journal of Industrial Relations will be launched.

-Our invite/information for chapter submissions for an edited book will also be made at the symposium.

Please scan the QR code on the flyer with your smartphone to access the registration form.

See you in Cape Town in October!

It is really important that we have UKZN representation so that we are able to build and leverage networks in this area. Even if you cannot make it, perhaps fund a student to attend if they are working on or are interested in this area.
