Call for Abstracts

Economic and Industrial Sociology Working Group

 

The 2026 SASA Annual Conference theme is Solidarity: Possibilities and Pitfalls. The Economic and Industrial Sociology Working Group invites abstracts for papers to be presented at the 31st Annual Conference of the South African Sociological Association at the University of the Witwatersrand. 

 We invite abstracts that speak to the thematic focus of the annual conference and those that address the issues broadly related to sociology of work, economic and industrial sociology.

Abstracts should be submitted through the online submission portal using this link: https://forms.gle/TRkdw4xprf9HVXUp9 

The deadline for receiving abstracts is Sunday, 15 March 2026.

The 2026 SASA Annual Conference theme is Solidarity: Possibilities and Pitfalls. The Race, Class and Ethnicity Working Group invites abstracts for papers (including book launch, research panels) to be presented at the 31st Annual Conference of the South African Sociological Association at the University of the Witwatersrand. 

 We invite abstracts that speak to the thematic focus of the annual conference and those that address the issues broadly related to race/racism, class and ethnicity.
