Toolbar showing, clicking does nothing?

Has anyone else had this?

I am using TheMiner as a preloader, and get the toolbar, but clicking on the buttons doesn't show anything. I do get the button highlighted, but that's it. If I press the minimise button, it disappears completely.

There's the relevant output from my flashlog.txt:

TheMiner : Starting TheMiner 1.4.01

TheMiner : valid object [object Object]

TheMiner : Loading configs...

TheMiner : Indirect profilier launch (waiting for main SWF to load)

TheMiner : Starting TheMiner 1.4.01

The Miner: SetRoot

So it all looks OK to me?

I've tried on Chrome v22 and Firefox v16.0.1 on Mac OSX Mountain Lion.

The weirdest thing is that it didn't work in Chrome to start, so I switched my browser to FF. the very first time I loaded it, it worked fine, but now it won't work again at all. I've cleared both the FF and flash caches, quit and restarted. I've cleaned my Flex projects just in case it was a problem with them. None of these things made any difference.

I also tried with a third-party Flex application, by going to http://examples.adobe.com/flex3/devnet/dashboard/main.html. Same behaviour as above.

Any ideas?

No runtime errors, no. I'm just trying with the SWC instead. I'll let you know if this works.

It's working fine with the SWC in Firefox, so I'll stick with that for now, thanks.
