Absolutely funny to read. Obviously 1975 has been forgotten. Three judges were superceded etc.
There is another aspect to be considered. More than outer pressure, there seems to be inner pressure due to fear or ambition as well as four minutes of fame in the social media. How can these be countered if there is lack of character and discipline?

Thanks, I can actually remind that gentleman who seems to have woken up after decades of slumber to say ' only in the last few years etc." that the UPA Govt made Gill, a retired CEC, a minister (Sports Minister, if I remember right). Just because a ruling went against her, her then P M imposed Emergency throttling democracy, but that's ok for some.
