Hello! I'm looking for an experienced Design Drafter with autoCAd
expertise for an opportunity that I have in Le Marque, TX (outside of
Houston). I found your resume online and would love the opportunity

What are the general responsibilities of a Design Drafter?
Provide detailed design of assemblies and components using CAD
software.
Provide functional design as well and production of finished drawings,
analyze created and previously created designs.
Prepare bills of materials, technical documentation and manuals.
Work closely with project managers to produce quotes and provide
techincal support throughout project duration.
What are the requirements to be successful in this role?
3+ years of experience as a design drafter.
BA in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Autodesk.
Experience with analysis and hand calculations.
Extensive knowledge of ASME codes.
Knowledge in welding techniques and materials.
Experience with designing pressure vessels, structural steel, and
piping design.
Must be able to read P&ID's, mechanical drawings and piping
isometrics.
Knowledge of Fabrication techniques and processes.
Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCad
Must be a a self-starter
