I wanted to take this opportunity to network with you on an opening
for a PDS Piping Designer with FuelCell Energy
(www.fuelcellenergy.com) in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-perm
situation and for the right person, it is a very exciting opportunity
in a growth industry.

This person will be responsible for CAD design and layout (3D models
and 2D drawings) of megawatt and sub-megawatt balance of plant
systems. He or she will be primarily involved with product cost
reduction (block projects). He or she will:

Create and modify Intergraph PDS piping and equipment plant models
Create drawing layouts of conceptual and development components and
systems
Work closely with and assimilate information from engineers,
technicians and manufacturing personnel to develop detailed designs to
meet engineering requirements
Interface with other designers and drafters

We are seeking someone with:

An AS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Five plus years of experience in 3D, parametric CAD design.
A high level of computer savvy, including: 3D Piping Design with
Intergraph PDS, Microstation and Auto-CAD.
The experience and ability to take on design projects with minimal
direction.
Hands-on experience in industrial design (a must!) and fabrication
experience (a plus!)
