Job Title: Lead Process Piping Designer- Chicago
Location: Chicago, IL
Lead Process Piping Designer- Chicago; #222-MH423
10+ years process/piping design experience for industrial projects to
include: planning of piping designs; designing pipe supports,
elevations, isometrics.
Experience using design software programs: AutoCAD, Microstation 3D
and Plant 4D
Experience in: 3D piping design; Pipe stress/flexibility analysis
Experience developing Bills of Material
Experience with construction support in a mill environment
Experience estimating jobs; writing proposals; managing projects.MAJOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work as a lead process/piping designer for projects in the food and
confections industry
Prepare drawings, sketches, pipe isometric drawings, measuring
equipment, etc, within a manufacturing environment - using AutoCAD,
Microstation 3D and Plant 4D.
Practice ISA (Instrument Society of America) standards for P & IDs
Interface with client to insure project expectations are met on time,
and with quality products.
