I did not notice it Nina … but now I am having a good laugh …. Indeed, we’re really like rats having our own little world going out of our hole only when we think the cat is away … hahaha ...

Hi Dr Paul,

Prof Paul, speaking of rats, the biggest in the world is our very own Dagang Buot or cloud rat. It can grow up to 2.4 kg and can be found in Mt Banahaw.

Quite revealing, Doc Boni. I did some research about their habitat and characteristics. Unlike our ordinary conception of household rats, which live under or on the ground, Dagang Buot or Cloud Rats (as you said, the biggest of which are found in Mt. Banahaw) live primarily in treetops in the forest, literally living in a higher dimension (cloud) of life and existence. It could also be that the Dagang Buot is not prey to our domestic cats, especially because their sheer size and weight alone could run as big or even bigger than our pet cats or Pusang Kalye. They are also fiercer and can sport long tails to appear just like our tamed cats. I suspect that this is also true in the case of Mt Banahaw’s Dagang Buot, unless, of course, the Pusang Buot is also found there in the hills of Mt. Banahaw.

By the way, I just had a new spiritual experience recently of the energy of Mt. Banahaw, the Tayabas side. Tree tops, forest, Mt. Banahaw, Cloud, Buot, rats, Pusa (cats), and Kalye (path, way) give us another picture of our multidimensional Cosmos and our interconnectedness with each other. Perhaps, this is what the SCAN is all about – our interrelatedness and oneness with Creation. What is exciting is that we are also multidimensional beings and can live in several dimensions (physical, mental, psychical, and consciousness) simultaneously and instantly. Even more exciting is that while the forest, trees, mountains, clouds, etc. engulf us, we also envelop them.

Dear Prof. Paul,

Thanks a lot for allowing us to peep into your library of cosmic books.
Wow, I had a blast just going through the titles one by one! Fortunately,
I have nine (9) of yours from my small ACA collection (Hubbard, Zitchin, Hamilton.
Fox, Sagan, Walsch, Davies, Zukav & Hawking).

I have to admit they are indeed heavy reading. Were it not for our ACA background,
it would be difficult to comprehend them. I still have a long way to go; these books
need revisiting. They are like an invisible umbilical cord that connects us to our ACA
roots, mentors and friends.

By the way, Laudato Si could be a part of our ACA collection, too -- very Creation Spirituality-ish!

May the force be with you all,
Tina

Hi Tina, the avid follower of the Big Bang Theory ... nice to hear from you. Do you know that Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson was guest of the series recently? It was just hilarious, especially that part where scientists downgraded Pluto as a planet. Laudato Si is also part of my collection ... a good reference for our topic on Sustainable Development. As you know, we have been talking about it (climate change, etc.) with my students in class years before pa. But we need a person like Pope Francis to shake the world (governments and the corporate world) of its urgency. His visits to various countries indeed created several impacts already. Now back to your Big Bang Theory and bonding with your father.

My warm regards and best wishes.
