Nakapagtapos si Bonifacio ng Inhinyerong nauukol sa Pagsasaka sa
UP Los Baños at MSCoastal Resources Management sa Silliman University. Kasalukuyang nagpapakadalubhasa si
Bonifacio sa Asian Social Institute Doctoral Studies sa pagkuha ng Applied Cosmic
Anthropology kung saan pinagaaralan ang sinaunang Katutubong Pilipino.
Si Bonifacio Comandante Jr ay isang Agricultural Engineer at Marine Scientist.
Kabilang sa kanyang parangal ang 2005 Best International Business Award ngUniversity of San Francisco at World Bank Innovations Grant Competition Award sa
Washington DC noong 2007. Nakasama si Bonifacio ngayong 2009 sa International George
Stewart Institute of Food Technologists Research Paper Competition, isang kalahok na napili sa
hanay ng 1800 katunggali sa buong mundo. Isang hilig ni Bonifacio ang magturo ng kilos at
galaw mula sa sinaunang Wikang Baybayin ng Katutubong Pilipino.
