Dear member,

I am sure you have been wondering what became of the Society for
Ethics in the past six months. A lot has happened since then. First is
the fact that we now have a secretariat at Obanikoro in Lagos. We have
built a website, www.ethicsinnigeria.org and we now have our own email
direct to the society and no longer through yahoo or any other third
party.

What this means is you can visit our website at www.ethicsinnigeria.org
and avail yourself of our offerings therein.

Our commentaries will continue in earnest, and at the same time, we
are working on practical projects which are designed to make an impact
on members very soon.

So as you can see, we have not been idle. In fact we have been working
round the clock to ensure that this idea is not just a dream, but is
brought to maturity with every seriousness of purpose.

We promise to let you know our opinion on the recent happenings in the
country, and assure you that the site will offoer you quite a lot of
insight into the world of applied ethics.

Our online forms for enrolment as members or course registrations are
not yet enabled on the site. You can however send us your name and
postal address through the email address on the site, that is,
in...@ethicsinnigeria.org. We will then send you a form through post or
hand delivery so that you can fill it an return to us through the same
process.

It will also afford you the opportunity of getting to know us better
and answer any question you might have concerning the Society.

Lastly, do not forget to tell a friend about the Society. It is the
wind of change blowing over Nigeria, and unless you are satisfied with
the status quoyou will agree with me that the more the merrier we
shall be.

And remember, we believe that we will not grow the country, until we
decide to dignify ouselves in all we do. Therefore, resolve today to
treat every Nigerian you come across in your work, in your street, in
your house, in your plce of worship, and indeed anywhere and under
every circumstance with dignity and respect, and you will discover
that we are on our way to being a truly great country.

Regards

National Coordinator
