Yes, the membership setup at the actual SVR Site is still working - we
definitely get requests for membership from time to time. But I think it
may be time to pull the plug - I'm too often late in processing those
requests and replying; and although one of the existing conditions of
membership is to accept an invitation to this Google list and actually post
a "Hi" or "Ave" here, very few ever do.

So, for the present,

- No change.
- We'll keep the Site up and this List here at Google.
- I'll post an aviso (on both the Site and here on the List) that we are
no longer an active group.
- When people apply for membership, they'll get an invite to the Group;
if they actually do post, then heck, they're in.

Because of the addy I've not received anything from SVR for ages.  I thought it was strange.  I missed it.
