Salvete, Sodales -

I have found it stimulating and agreeable these days as a member of www.romanrepublic.org and their Forum.  I recommend it as a locus for neo-Romans and Rome-enthusiasts like us.  Being neither a re-enactor nor a cultor deorum, I've haunted the Collegium Philosophiae mostly.

What else is going on with our members?

In fact - I have to ask - is anybody out there...?

Salvete,  Adsum.

Despite being retired and supposedly having more time, I am unfortunately very distant from Romanitas, or at least online Roman activities.  I don't even read the daily summaries from RomanRepublic.org.  I hope that will change sometime.  I'd like to see whether we could do something useful with all the historic assets from when the SVR forum was active.

Salvete Omnes,

I'm still active esp. with re-enactment as a gladiator. Hence I have many connections to other Roman re-enactors via Facebook or even seeing them in real life at some events.

As you might know I was never a member of Nova Roma. Romanrepublic.org I don't know but might check it out.

Avete, amici !

Timave -  Good thought - I will bring it up: perhaps if nothing else, a culture-marker that links to the SVR site.

Cleopatra Aelia - Do drop in and have a look, perhaps read their Declaration.  The site and the Forum both.

They use a BBS setup for the Forum - rather like the SVR's - as opposed to a Wiki or - ai-yah - this Google thing.  (Yes, I actually suggested using Google when we set this up. It remains an awkward, limited sort of forum.)

Valete.
