The OSHWC Code, 2020 brings stronger statutory clarity on workersโ€™ annual leave rights. A worker qualifies for full annual leave upon completing 180 days of attendance in a calendar year, ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐Ÿญ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜† ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ (with a better rate of 1:15 for adolescents and below-ground miners).
