If you are currently looking in to trying out Optin Skin then this post was written for you. I have been using it for about 3 months now.
First up, what exactly is it? The Optin Skin WordPress plugin is a simple way to add a great looking opt in form to your website.
You can set the form to be shown in your side bar, actually in your posts or shown below your posts and you get 18 pre made templates that you can choose from.
Now that we know what it is let's look at why you would use it. The first is quite simple.
The first step is to decide where you would like the form to show.
My top spot is still just below my blog posts. Putting the form below my posts doubled my conversion rate compared to having it in my side bar form.
I hate things that are not super simple. OptinSkin could not be easier.
You just upload it, choose the form you want, enter your email provider and you are good to go.
You also have the option to use split testing which gives you a simple chart so that you can quickly see which forms are giving you the best conversion rate.
With the Internet becoming hyper competitive it's important that you stand out from the crowd.
A great additional touch is the 'delayed' option. This makes the form appear just as the reader gets to the end of your post which makes it stand out from the page.
