Call for Participation: GESIS Methods Hub Datasprint @ Social Media Access Days

As part of the Social Media Access Days 2026, we invite you to participate in this year's Datasprint – a fast-paced event to kick off the Social Media Access Days on Tuesday, March 17, at the German National Library (Frankfurt am Main). Join us as we explore and analyze social media data together.

In the Datasprint, participants work in groups in a fast-paced event to explore one of several available social media datasets in order to showcase datasets, exchange experiences, and learn together, while developing new expertise and methods. The GESIS Methods Hub provides tools to load and analyze these datasets and online environments for experimentation.

Important dates:
- February 17, 2026: Announcement of selected datasets.
- March 17, 2026: Datasprint at the Social Media Access Days 2026 (German National Library, Frankfurt am Main, Germany).

Note that we will close registration once we reached 20 participants.
