我去年生请过和得到过这个旅游奖金 (travel grant) 参加开放教育会议. 那时候在犹太洲, 今年第一次搬到美丽的温哥华市. 这个会议是非常的有意思, 聚集特别多的北美和全世界的最优秀的从事开放教育的人. 我特别促进中国学生老师盛情. 他们给你们足有的钱作飞机, 住并关. 难得的机会!
如果有人想让我看看他们写的, 我愿意作.

3 Travel Scholarships Available - Apply Now!

Based on the generosity of our sponsors, we are extremely pleased to be able to announce that there are now 3 travel scholarships available, each worth $1300 towards the participant’s travel costs.
In order to apply for one of these scholarships, please write a blog post (referring back to this one) describing:
1. What you would “bring” to the conference? What can you contribute, be it a willingness to volunteer to moderate a session, some special expertise or project, an already accepted proposal…
2. What you see as the most critical issue facing you in your efforts around Open Education, and how you think the conference can help you address it?
Entries are due by midnight, June 30th, and will be adjudicated by the organizing committee as quickly as possible to give as much time as we can to make travel bookings.

我很高兴你决定参加。大家 － 只剩下４天，而目前只有三个人申请过。而只有两个人是第三世界的（他们可能比较像给否则不能够来的人）。。。你们不应该以为你们没有资格申请， 我觉得这个社区的每个会员应该可以申请。。。 在申请的时候， 应该写１）你对这个会议能带来什么。。。比如介绍中国各方面的情况， 你自己的工作，研究（论文），大发现的情况， 等 ２）你自己能学到什么，以后对你自己的工作和你在中国做的事情会有什么好处。
