विषय : उत्तम नगर, दिल्ली में नफरत भरे आहवान के मद्देनजर भारत के अमन पसद नागरिको ,संतो ,सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ,बुद्धिजीवियों व नागरिक संगठनों की ओर से सयुंक्त अपील
महोदय,
विदित है कि भारत बुद्ध ,गांधी, मीरा ,कबीर से लेकर सुफियो और संतों की धरती रहा है और सदियों से यहां अनेकता ने एकता रही है . लेकिन पिछले दिनों एक युवा तरुण के मारे जाने के बाद से ही उत्तम नगर क्षेत्र में सांप्रदायिक वैमनस्य फैलाने की लगातार कोशिशें हो रही है. जितना पुलिस द्वारा मीडिया में दिए बयान से समझ आता है यह एक आपसी लड़ाई और क्रिमिनल एक्ट सा प्रतीत होता है . लेकिन इस सबके बावजूद जो खबरें आ रही है उस से लगता है की उक्त घटना को आधार बनाकर देशवासियों बिच हिंसा और नफरत को फैलाने के लिए सुनियोजित तरीके से माहौल बनाया जा रहा है ।
हाल ही में मीडिया के माध्यम से खबर मिली है की कुछ कतिपय लोगों/संगठनों द्वारा लगातार ईद के दिन "खून की होली जैसे आह्वान किए जा रहे है. विश्व को शांति की राह दिखाने वाली धरती में इस तरह के आह्वान दुखद, चिंतनीय और भर्त्सना योग्य है
ऐसे में हर आम अमन पसंद नागरिक देश की एकता ,भाईचारे और अमन के लिए चिंतित है और हम सभी आपसे अपील करते है की
· सोशल मीडिया, पोस्टर और खबरों से बनाए गए माहौल को देखते हुए
· त्योहार के वक्त क्षेत्र में कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के उचित इंतजाम रखे जाएँ
· यह सुनिश्चित किया जाए हिंसा का नही लेकिन कानून का राज स्थापित रहे
· संविधान की उद्देशिका के मुताबिक "व्यक्ति की गरिमा और राष्ट्र की एकता और अखंडता सुनिश्चित करने वाली बंधुता बढ़ाने के लिए" कदम उठाए जाए
· धर्म,जाति ,भाषा ,लिंग से परे उत्तम नगर क्षेत्र के हर आम नागरिक को भयमुक्त जीवन था विश्वास,धर्म और उपासना की स्वतंत्रता सुनिश्चित की जाए
· सोशल मीडिया ,पोस्टर ,हिंसक नारों व अन्य तरीकों से क्षेत्र भय और असुरक्षा का माहोल बनाने वाले व्यक्तियों व संगठनों को चिन्हित कर इनपर प्रतिबंधात्मक व अन्य जरूरी कार्यवाहियां अविलंभ की जाए
· अमन,शांति ,संवाद और मेलजोल बढ़ाने के लिए अमन कोमिटियो , सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओ आदि के साथ रणनीति बनाई जाए .
· हम अपील करतें है की मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए अमन और शांति व् कानून के राज की दिशा में त्वरित निर्देश देते हुए कार्यवाही करें

Subject: Joint appeal from peace loving citizens of India, saints, social workers, intellectuals and civil society organizations In view of the hate call in Uttam Nagar, Delhi
Good evening,
Our Nation India has always been the land of Sufis and Saints from Buddha, Gandhi ,Meera , Kabir gave a message of peace to the world. For centuries, “unity in diversity “happens to be our strength. However, ever since the recent killing of a young man, there have been continuous attempts to spread communal hate and violence in the Uttam Nagar area. As far as we understand from the media statement by the police authorities, it appears to be a mutual fight and a criminal act. However, Despite all the facts and legal actions taken by the, the news from the area indicate that the above incident is being used as a base for a planned strategy to spread violence and hate among the countrymen.
Recent, News on media channels indicate that some people/organizations are continuously giving calls for "Khoon ki Holi” i.e Holi of blood on the day of Eid. Our country shows the path of peace to the world and any such calls are sad, worrying and equally condemnable at the same time.
In view of this situation, Every Peace-loving citizen is worried about the unity, brotherhood and peace of the country. In view of the deliberately orchestrated atmosphere created via slogans ,social media posts, posters and Fake narrations . We undersigned appeal that
· Adequate arrangements should be made to maintain law and order in the area during the festival.
· It should be ensured that the rule of law prevails and not of violence and fear.
· Steps must be taken to "promote fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation." Per guarantee in The Preamble of the Constitution of India
· Freedom of faith, religion and worship must be ensured to every common citizen of Uttam Nagar area irrespective of religion, caste, language and gender.
· Identify individuals and organizations creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in the area through rumors, social media, posters, violent slogans and other means and immediate action must be taken against them.
· Actions/interventions must be initiated along with peace committees, social workers and responsible/influential individuals to promote peace, harmony, dialogue and cooperation, etc.
· We appeal that considering the gravity of the matter, swift actions and directions must be initiated towards maintaining peace and rule of law .
