[The Government Counsel has reportedly claimed in the High Court of Delhi that there was a truck full of stones (insinuating thereby that that the protesters at Jantar Mantar had something to do with it) A video is circulating in which he is seen and heard making such a claim.:]If there was a truck full of stones, let the Government show when it arrived, who arranged it and brought it there, who owns it, who paid for the stones, who loaded the stones on the truck, where the stones originated, who was driving the truck and how it passed through the heavy security arrangements made at the protest venues. it should be easy enough to get to the bottom of this. There must have been at least five hundred CCTV cameras which would have recorded the movement of the truck. When crucial evidence of this nature is withheld, it needs to be ascertained who was most likely to be in possession of this evidence or best placed to have it in their power to be informed of such facts, and a presumption must be drawn against those withholding such evidence despite it being within their power and reach.
