Climate Change Will Burn, Parch, Drown And Wash Away South Asia

 

The use of fossil fuels by capitalism has created winners and losers, and this process will deepen with more warming. Capitalism has facilitated the Global North and the bourgeoisie in the Global South to amass wealth, while the working people, the vast majority in the Global South, and vulnerable populations in the Global North are the losers. South Asia will be one of the biggest losers as it is particularly vulnerable to climate change impacts due to its geography and low resilience of its population.
