Aanchal's father migrated from Sitapur to the city in search of work and is the only earning member supporting four children. He works tirelessly every day, yet the family struggles just to meet basic needs.
Despite these hardships, Aanchal has shown extraordinary determination. She is the only one among her siblings who has continued going to school through constant struggle. Last year, when her father tried to arrange her marriage at a young age, Aanchal bravely refused and said, “I want to study.”Her father, helpless due to poverty, told her he could not afford her education.
Refusing to give up, Aanchal sought help from a local organization and continued her studies. She scored 77% in her Class 10 board exams and is now studying in Class 12 at Yogita Montessori School, Madiyav (Lucknow). This year is her board examination year — a crucial turning point in her life.
Unfortunately, the supporting organization is now facing a financial crisis and can no longer pay her school fees.
