Knesset Pushes Death Penalty Bill as Warnings of Mass Executions Grow, March 25 2026
Knesset
committee approves death penalty bill for second and third readings.
Law mandates execution of Palestinian prisoners without pardon or
judicial consensus. Palestinian groups warn of mass executions and call for urgent international intervention.
Deputy Speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Limor Son Har-Melech, appeared in a costume themed “Death Penalty for Terrorists.” She
wore a uniform resembling that of the Israel Prison Service, along with
pins depicting a hanging noose and the “Third Temple.” In her hands,
she held a rope noose and a syringe as part of the outfit. Her husband’s
costume represented the themes “Occupation, Expulsion, Settlement.” He
carried a prop gun labeled “Occupation,” a small model airplane marked
“Expulsion,” and a miniature house labeled “Settlement.” Mar 4 2026

Iran warns US-Israeli strikes on Bushehr plant risks ‘catastrophic’ fallout for Persian Gulf, March 25 2026
Iran’s
Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the nation’s sole civilian nuclear energy
facility, was struck by a projectile on Tuesday evening, an attack
Tehran condemned as a flagrant act of terrorism by the United States and
Israel that imperils the entire Persian Gulf region. The Atomic Energy
Organization of Iran confirmed that the facility was hit at
approximately 9:08 p.m., describing the strike as a sharp escalation in
U.S.-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic’s civilian
infrastructure. The incident marks the second attack on the Bushehr
plant in recent weeks, following a previous strike on March 5 .. The
United States and Israel also attacked Iran's nuclear facilities in
Esfahan, Natanz and Fordow during their previous war against the country
in June of 2025. During their current war, they attacked Natanz again
.. Russia played a central role in constructing the Bushehr plant, the
first nuclear power facility in West Asia. The Bushehr plant is situated
on the coast of the Persian Gulf, a body of water that is the primary
source of desalinated drinking water for much of West Asia, including
Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. Environmental
scientists warn that a significant breach of the reactor’s containment
or the release of spent nuclear fuel pools could result in radioactive
contamination of the Persian Gulf's waters. Were such a contamination
event to occur, it could cripple desalination plants that line the
Persian Gulf's shores, potentially disrupting the water supply for tens
of millions of people across the region. Iran has long argued that the international community’s silence on such threats amounts to complicity in what it terms environmental terrorism.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has issued a stern
warning to the United States, stating that Iran is closely monitoring
the deployment of American soldiers in the region. 26 March 2026
Iran rejects US proposal, sets five conditions to end war, March 25 2026
Iran
has rejected a recent American proposal aimed at ending the ongoing
imposed war, insisting that any cessation of hostilities will occur only
on Tehran's own terms and timeline. Washington’s latest overture,
delivered via a regional intermediary, has been categorized as a ploy to
heighten tensions. Iran will not allow Trump to dictate the end of the
war, emphasizing that “Iran will end the war when it decides to do so
and when its own conditions are met.” Five Conditions for Ending the
War: 1. A complete halt to “aggression and assassinations” by the
enemy. 2. Establishment of concrete mechanisms to ensure the war is not
reimposed on Iran. 3. Guaranteed payment of war damages and
reparations. 4. Conclusion of the war across all fronts and for all
resistance groups throughout the region. 5. Recognition of Iran’s
sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz as its natural and legal right,
serving as a guarantee for the other party’s commitments. The official
noted that these stipulations are in addition to demands previously presented by Tehran
during the second round of negotiations in Geneva, held just days
before the US and Israel launched a fresh round of aggression on
February 28.

Outlasting the Superpower: The Reasons Why Iran is Beating the US and Israel, Robert Inlakesh, March 24 2026
As the US-Israeli war of aggression continues to escalate and Trump makes new threats against Iran’s energy infrastructure, the
Islamic Republic and its allies are edging closer towards inflicting a
historic defeat on the world’s top superpower. This is not hyperbole;
instead, it can be demonstrated through the facts on the ground .. The
IRGC Aerospace Force continues to fire wave after wave of ballistic
missiles, directly impacting US military facilities across the Persian
Gulf and Israeli targets. In
addition to the IRGC, the Iranian Armed Forces also have their own
separate drone attack units that operate around the clock. Iranian attacks, along with the support of their Iraqi allies, have now forced a full NATO withdrawal from Iraq,
as US forces take round-the-clock missile and drone hits to their
bases. Every US base in the Persian Gulf, Iraq, and Jordan has been
damaged, in some cases entirely destroyed. Hezbollah also
returned to the scene in Lebanon, stronger than ever, with its arms
stockpiles replenished, managing to prevent the Israeli military from
advancing in south Lebanon, all after both Tel Aviv and Washington
claimed that the party had been defeated. The USS Abraham Lincoln
aircraft carrier was fired upon and has been forced to retreat,
out of active striking distance of Iran, as the USS Gerald R. Ford is in
need of repairs .. Iran has retaliated each time a new escalation is
committed by either the US or Israel, whether that be against oil
facilities, water desalination plants, or nuclear facilities. Tehran
does not show any signs of weakness; large crowds show up in support of
their government. Because Iran is no longer exporting food during the
war, the prices of goods on the shelves have actually decreased, as
government subsidies are being offered, as well as free public transport
.. Iran’s oil production is also up to a high that hasn’t been seen in
at least 46 years, meaning that since the revolution in 1979 against the
US-backed Shah, birthing the Islamic Republic, the country’s production
has never reached such levels. As of now, only nations that gain Iran’s
permission are able to purchase or transit through the Gulf of Hormuz.
In other words, they have total dominance. Ebrahim
Zolfaghari, the spokesman of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters,
openly mocks the US leadership, “Hey Trump, YOU’RE FIRED! You’re
familiar with this sentence. Thank you for your attention to this
matter” .. This war destroys the US military’s power projection,
cripples its role in West Asia, demonstrates it is a liability to
allies, while representing a victory for its two top enemies, Russia and
China. Although predicting the future is impossible, as of right now,
this is shaping up to be the most disastrous US war, perhaps in its
history.

USS Lincoln Targeted as Iran, Hezbollah Expand Missile Attacks on Israel, March 25 2026
Commander
of the Iranian Navy Admiral Shahram Irani said that Iranian forces
maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz and are closely
monitoring the carrier’s movements. He warned that any entry of the
carrier within range of Iranian missile systems would be met with
overwhelming naval attacks. The development follows a similar incident
when Iranian missiles targeted the USS Abraham Lincoln, forcing it to
withdraw from the area .. Iranian armed forces launched a new batch of
missiles toward Israel on Wednesday, according to Iranian television.
Israeli media reported loud explosions in Tel Aviv following widespread
sirens from the north to the south of occupied Palestine. Successive
explosions were also reported in Hadera, where thick black smoke was
seen rising near a power plant following a missile strike. Additional
projectiles fell in Binyamina south of Haifa and in Modi’in west of
occupied Jerusalem. An Israeli aircraft attempting to land from Larnaca
reportedly aborted its landing for the third time and returned to the
sea amid the ongoing bombardment. The escalation comes as Iranian and
Lebanese operations continue simultaneously

Hezbollah Military Media Explains Merkava Convoy Ambush in Taybeh-Qantara Area, South Lebanon: 10 Tanks, 2 Bulldozers Destroyed, 26 March 2026
Resistance
fighters lured the enemy into a precise ambush before firing their
anti-armor missiles. As a result of the ambush, the enemy lost 10 tanks and 2 bulldozers before its troops fled
the scene of the confrontation .. The fighters successfully foiled the
enemy’s maneuver, inflicting losses of 10 tanks and 2 D9 bulldozers.
They had also thwarted a similar attempt two days earlier from Al-Taybeh
toward Deir Suryan, destroying 8 Merkava tanks.
“And victory is not but from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

missiles and a third strike targeted Israeli troop concentrations in the
Taybeh project using a suicide drone.

The
Merkava tank is a central component of Israel’s ground forces, and its
deployment is typically associated with frontline advances. The reported
destruction of eight such tanks in a single engagement marks a
significant development in the ongoing clashes along the Lebanon front.
Hezbollah indicated that the operation relied on guided missiles and
coordinated fire, enabling fighters to strike multiple targets in
sequence while maintaining pressure on advancing units .. Hezbollah
Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said: This resistance will not be
defeated… we are reassured and confident that there will be no defeat,
no matter the sacrifices. We are faced with two choices: either
surrender and abandon our land, dignity, sovereignty, and future
generations, or inevitable confrontation and resistance to prevent the
occupation from achieving its goals.” Qassem also described the war as a
direct assault on Lebanon, rejecting the notion that it is a proxy
conflict. “There is no war for others on Lebanese soil; it is a war by
Israel and America against Lebanon.”

Mizrahi: The Yemeni card and its cataclysmic implications: I have to
tell you why the assessments regarding projected energy prices and the
economic consequences of the war on Iran, made by every expert and
financial institution in the world are way, way off and don't even begin
to capture the coming tsunami. You see, Saudi Arabia has been able to
move close to 4 million barrels of oil per day (out of roughly 9.5
million daily barrels it produces) through the Red Sea. Right now, as I
understand it, a huge fleet of tankers is waiting to be loaded at SA's
Yanbu port. This alternative route has been a big cushion absorbing
much of the shock caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. And
every calculation and projection that we've seen assumes this route
stays open. Well. You see where Yemen is situated? Once it enters the
war and blows up some ships in the Red Sea, then you'll see what happens
to oil prices globally. Then the carnage will begin. It won't be $150-200, but more like $300-400 a barrel.
A death sentence for a great number of West-aligned economies. Yemen
will be the wild card that sinks the global economy, ignites the
financial collapse of 2026 and potentially begins the end of Saudi
Arabia as we know it. And it is coming.
