A nice and comprehensive account.
The drama on the floor of the parliament left the regime quite a bit nonplussed.
For the first time, the Modi regime had to encounter an LoP. That in itself is a pretty significant difference. And the LoP, to boot, was frankly aggressive and launched a no holds barred attack. On top of that, the Khangress leader was repeatedly flaunting an image of the revered Hindu deity Lord Shiva and projecting him as a sort fountainhead of "Hindu" morality. The Hindutva troops were completely unprecedented for that and just didn't know what hit them in the face. Of course, he also displayed the icons of almost all other major religions practised in this land. Of course, he did commit a few slips too. But, in the overall context, hardly mattered.
Now, it's time to vigorously pursue the line: Aap Hindu Ho Hi Nahin! Not: Narendra Modi is not all of the Hindu community.
Easier said than done.
Let's see how things unfold.
