Location: Minneapolis,MN
Duration: 6+ Months           

Responsibilities:
Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
Modify existing databases and database management systems.
Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
Specify users and user access levels for each segment of database.
Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases.
This position requires new database and/or table design, schema and creation.
Database development and architecture.
Data migration/mapping, modeling skills and experience required as well.
Primary functional area is with a Financial Modeling application and databases.
Need a strong developer/architect that can understand current architecture, complete an existing (near completion) database project that is a pricing comparison application.
Creation of a new architecture to support complex financial analysis and forecasting will also be required.
This individual will need to be able to work independently with minimal guidance from Finance team.

Required skils:
Prefer 5+ years of experience in SQL Server 2008 development, DBA and architecture experience.
Access 2007, .NET, XML experience, DTS, SSIS, SSAS and (clustering), SSRS, SQL Query Analyzer, SQL Profiler
DB Backup, Replication and Disaster Recovery experience required.
Windows 2008 Server installation and administration experience required.
QA and testing
Experience with DB replication, Migration and Data Analysis
Experience with writing SQL queries
Financial Analysis a plus
