Overall responsibility:
Responsible for developing server-side components for the redesign of the portal application.
Qualifications:
· Core JAVA (JDK 1.5+)
· Expert in object-oriented programming concepts
· Proficiency with software design fundamentals and design patterns
· 5 years of experience working with open source frameworks, especially Struts and Spring
· Knowledge of other open source frameworks such as Hibernate, etc. preferred
· 3 years of experience with Enterprise Application Servers Oracle Weblogic Server 10 +
· Experience and knowledge of portal technologies preferred, especially Weblogic Portal experience
· Detailed knowledge of relational database fundamentals
· Knowledgeable in creating SQL stored procedures and tuning
· Experienced in technical requirements gathering, design, and testing
