this application

hi, im just wondering how the following has happened.
today when i opened facebook. all my ten mini feed stories were,
"keith has a secret crush on XXXX"
this was sent to all of my friends who share this application with
me.
i definatly did not send this outto all my friends,
my girlfriend has had the sme problem
where she logs on and it has sent maybe ten crushes to her friends
too.
while she was definatly not logged in or usingthe application
Is this common?? what causes this problem andhow can we fix it??
