Travelites' Mardi Gras report & upcoming

Travelites’ Mardi Gras was a hoot and a half. The masks, the beads,
the wonderful Cajun dishes were the best ever from the crawfish pies
to the jambalaya to the etouffe’ plus the varied and scrumptious
desserts.

The weather was warm and sunny as this event began. Our hosts’ home
both on the deck and indoors was beautiful and the hospitality
unsurpassed. The hot tub was relaxing, the Wii game fun, the guitar
playing and just the people really made the event. We definitely look
forward to visiting with Terry & Paul in the near future.

The club’s next event is the annual St. Patrick’s Day party on March
12 in Leesville. The club will supply the corned beef. Others are
asked to bring sides and desserts. When you RSVP in the positive,
directions will be shared. The event begins at 4.

The following event is scheduled for March 26 – Spring fun beginning
at 3pm with egg coloring and tie dying with a potluck supper @ 6:30.
