Looking for higher education CRM system

I'm looking for a CRM system adapted for the needs of higher
education. I prefer software as a service CRM systems, however, am
open to an on-premise system if the on-demand systems are less mature
for my industry. Any suggestions appreciated.

For on-premise CRM software solutions, I suggest you consider Oracle
Siebel and PeopleSoft. I've previously implemented PeopleSoft in
higher education, but that was years ago and I'm not currently clear
where Oracle is taking that solution. For SaaS CRM, I suggest you
consider RightNow, Talisma and Intelliworks. RightNow is a strong
horizontal CRM product which caters to a few different verticals
including higher education. Talisma and Intelliworks focus almost
exclusively in this industry. Good luck.
